DESCRIPTION

Fox is the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart. With his soulful eyes, gentle nature, and eager-to-please personality, he has blossomed into a wonderful companion who is now ready to find the forever family he deserves.

When Fox was found running along a busy Memphis expressway, a Good Samaritan brought him to Animal Services. Thankfully, one of our southern rescue partners stepped in and welcomed him into foster care, giving him the chance to leave that frightening chapter behind and begin a new one.
Although he was understandably timid at first, Fox has grown into a confident, affectionate boy who loves being part of the family. He is incredibly intelligent, learns quickly, and wants to make his people happy.

Fox is wonderfully social with other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to share adventures and companionship. He also gets along beautifully with cats, as you can see here: https://youtube.com/shorts/itgJa8p2YSQ?feature=share
That makes him a great fit for many multi-pet households.

This handsome boy listens so well, understands commands like "No" and "Down,". Never one to jump on people, Fox is happiest curled up beside you on the couch or, if you'll allow it, snuggled in your lap for some well-earned affection.
And he now enjoys playing with toys, romping around the fenced yard, and spending time outdoors. He has a gentle, patient temperament and will even politely wait his turn when treats are being handed out.

Fox is housetrained, has done well on the leash during his limited outings without pulling, and has traveled quietly in a crate without whining or trying to escape. At home, he happily uses his open crate as a safe place to eat and relax. Because he can still be a bit of a chewer when left unsupervised, continuing to crate him when home alone or overnight is recommended.

Fox would be happiest in a relatively quiet home with people who will include him in daily life, provide plenty of love and positive interaction, and enjoy spending time with him both indoors and outside.
In return, he'll reward his family with unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love. If you're looking for a gentle best friend who is as sweet as he is handsome, Fox may be the perfect addition to your family.
