Royal's life didn't begin with the kindness every dog deserves, but she has never stopped believing in people.
For the first three years of her life, Royal lived outside on a chain, surrounded by dirt and mud with little comfort or care. She gave birth to 11 puppies in those heartbreaking conditions, and despite doing everything she could for them, only three survived. By the time she was rescued, Royal was painfully thin, exhausted, and had given everything she had to keep her babies alive.
Today, those three puppies have all found loving forever homes. Now it's finally Royal's turn.
This beautiful mama has blossomed into one of the sweetest dogs her foster has ever welcomed into their home. Despite everything she's endured, Royal absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's close to her family, whether she's snuggled beside you on the couch, joining you for a leisurely walk, or rolling around in the grass with pure delight. After spending years living on dirt, it's as if she's discovering the simple joys of being a dog for the very first time.
Royal has a calm, low-key personality that makes her an easy companion. She is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children, making her a fantastic fit for many different families.
She's both house and crate trained with regular potty breaks, rides beautifully in the car, and is food motivated, which has made training enjoyable.
She already knows "sit," "wait," and "paw," and she's always eager to earn a treat and make her people proud.
This precious mama has now learned that toys are meant to be played with, that meals arrive every day, and that life can be safe, predictable, and full of love. Her adorable little howls, gentle cuddles, and grateful heart make it impossible not to fall in love with her.
Royal has spent her life giving everything she had to others. She raised her puppies with incredible devotion despite impossible circumstances, and now they have families of their own. It's time for this remarkable mama to experience what she's always deserved--a warm bed, a full belly, endless love, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life.
If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Royal is ready to show you just how much love and companionship she can give.
