Meet Nox, a 5-month-old (on 7/10) Dutch Shepherd mix, weighing 13 pounds (as of 6/15/26). This sweet girl was found in a business parking lot in Tennessee all by herself. Talk about a hard knock life! On the plus side, if you adopt her, she's more than happy to help you with your business proposals!
Nox is a happy girl who loves to tell you what's on her mind. You'll find yourself having full-on conversations with her and honestly, that's the best kind of friendship there is! She doesn't have issues with other dogs (size does not faze her at all). She also loves kids and while she hasn't met cats yet, she promises to look through their portfolios and give them feedback on their business ideas.
Nox will go anywhere and everywhere; she's curious about everything. It'll be like having a National Geographic Explorer in your home! Due to her breed, she may need a lot of work to make sure she stays socialized and busy, so she hopes her future family will give her the stimulation she needs! This girl's a smarty pants and is sure to become the mayor of a small town, especially because she can adjust to any schedule and area. She'll still need some help with crates, leashes, potty training and commands but we believe in Nox and she believes in YOU!
Nox is a terrific puppy who is ready to explore the world with her new family. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
To adopt or learn more about Nox, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **
PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
