Meet Penny Pawesome, a 6-week-old Australian Shepherd mix, weighing 8 pounds (as of 6/7/26). The PAWESOME litter were surrendered by their owners in Tennessee after being bottle fed from 3 days old. They're not only awesome but paw-sitively adorable! Can you tell they love puns?!
Penny lives her days like it's one big party! She's a spirited girl with adorable puppy charm that's simply irresistible. When she's not playing with toys or winning a game of Monopoly, you can find her happily transforming into a cuddly little snuggle bug. Sweet-natured and eager to please, she is already showing signs of being a smart puppy who loves learning and discovering new things. This girl is destined for greatness. In fact, she's giving a TED Talk next week! Get ready to hear all the cool thing she's learned about life!
The Pawesome pups are super friendly and have also lived with other dogs. Every child they meet will instantly become their best friend (aside from you, of course.) They haven't been exposed to cats yet, but maybe one day they'll be charmed too. Since they're still young pups, they hope their future owners will have love and patience with puppy training: potty, leashing, and commands, though they're good with crates! They are currently not spayed/neutered yet, but once they get a little older, they will be before adoption. What's more awesome than a Pawesome pup? Nothing!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
To adopt or learn more about Penny Pawesome, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **
PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
