Meet Dolly, an adorable little Dachshund mix who is ready to find a family of her own.

Dolly is around 11 weeks old and still very much a young puppy. She is at the perfect age to start bonding with her forever family and learning all the skills that will help her grow into a wonderful companion.

Her adopter should be prepared for normal puppy life, including potty training, crate training, leash skills, chewing, socialization, and plenty of patience and consistency while she learns.

We believe Dolly is a Dachshund mix, but her exact breed combination and adult size are unknown. As with all rescue puppies, breed listings are our best guess based on appearance and any known history.

Her adoption fee is $600.

Because Dolly is too young to be altered prior to adoption, all puppy adoptions require a signed spay/neuter contract. The adopter agrees to have her spayed at approximately 6 months of age unless otherwise instructed by their veterinarian. The adopter is responsible for scheduling and paying for the procedure.

Once proof of spay is provided to the rescue, $100 of the $600 adoption fee will be returned to the adopter via PayPal or check.

Most of our dogs are rescued from high-intake shelters in Texas or directly from the streets of South Texas. The adoption fee helps cover transportation, age-appropriate core vaccines, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing when age appropriate, and other veterinary and rescue expenses.

We partner with VCA Animal Hospitals. Every adoption includes a complimentary First Exam at a participating VCA location within the first 14 days of adoption. VCA also provides limited health guarantee coverage of up to $250 for certain minor illnesses diagnosed during that initial period.

We do not guarantee the breed of any of our dogs or how large they will be when fully grown. Breed listings are our best guess based on appearance and known history. We also cannot guarantee that any rescue dog is not mixed with pit bull.

Paws Deep Animal Rescue is a nonprofit rescue. Any excess revenue is used to care for animals with additional medical needs and allows us to continue helping dogs who may otherwise be left behind.
