Winnie - Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Calgary, Alberta

Winnie is a 4 year old xx lbs. Dashie mix who is currently looking for her fur-ever home. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and spayed.

Notes from the foster home:
Winnie has been such a joy to foster! She is a confident, friendly, and active dog. When out on walks, she is eager to meet any and all dogs she encounters - big and small. Always up for an adventure, Winnie is the first one out the door when her people are heading out on foot or in the car. She enjoys spending time outside and is quick to alert us to any movements near our home. Winnie would be a great addition to an active home looking for a playful dog to add to the mix.

Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
