DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi, I'm Bolt! I'm an adorable Collie/Husky mix — at least that's everyone's best guess! I came all the way from a crowded shelter in Alabama, and now I'm ready for the best part of my journey: finding a forever home of my very own! I'm a super friendly, playful, and affectionate guy who loves spending time with people. I'm also great with other dogs and would be thrilled to have some canine friends in my life. I'd love an active home where we can go on adventures, play, explore, and then settle in for some quality time together. With my Collie/Husky genes, there's a pretty good chance I'm going to be one smart cookie, too! I'm ready to learn, have fun, and become someone's loyal best friend. So, what do you say? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
