DOG'S DESCRIPTION: I'm Baby Mowgli! Life has already taken me on quite the adventure! I was rescued from a crowded shelter in Alabama along with my two brothers, and now I'm safe in a wonderful foster home while I wait for my forever family. Could that be you?

I'm a true Heinz 57 mix, which just means I'm one-of-a-kind! Right now, I'm being treated for a skin infection that's not contagious, and I'm healing up beautifully. My coat is already starting to fill back in, and everyone says I'm only going to get cuter as it grows in! I'm your typical happy puppy—I love to play, explore, make new friends, and soak up all the love I can get. I'm sweet, friendly, and always ready for my next adventure. I'm also at the perfect age for training and socialization, so I'm excited to learn all the things that will help me become the very best companion.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
