DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Lainey! Lainey has already proven what an incredible mom she is. After she and her four precious puppies found themselves in a crowded Alabama shelter, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to bring the whole family to safety. Her puppies are beginning their journeys to forever homes, and now it's finally Lainey's turn to be the one who is loved, spoiled, and cherished.

Estimated to be 2–3 years old, Lainey is a beautiful Cattle Dog mix with a heart as lovely as her smile. She is incredibly affectionate, adores people, and has wonderful manners. She walks nicely on a leash, has a gentle, medium-energy personality, and is the kind of companion who will happily join you on adventures before settling in for some well-earned cuddle time. Lainey did test positive for heartworm, but there's no need to worry—K-9 Lifesavers will cover the cost of her treatment, so all she needs to focus on is finding the loving family she deserves.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
