Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet NightFox - a little gentleman with a big personality!
At just 11 months old and 24 pounds, NightFox is a Basset Hound through and through! With his adorably short legs, long floppy ears, and a stance so low he practically needs a periscope to see over the grass, this handsome little fellow is guaranteed to make you smile.
NightFox has all the classic Basset charm, including that unmistakable BAY that hound lovers know and love! He's got a voice, he's not afraid to use it, and he figures the world deserves to hear what he has to say.
We suspect NightFox may have spent much of his early life in an outdoor or crowded living environment, so he's still learning some of the finer points of being an indoor gentleman. Potty training is a work in progress, and he'll need a patient family willing to help him continue learning.
But what NightFox might lack in household experience, he more than makes up for in affection! He's a social little guy who gets along with everyone he meets. Dogs? Great! People? Even better! A stranger willing to offer a cuddle? Well, that's just a friend he hasn't met yet!
NightFox isn't looking for a complicated life. He'd just like a home full of love, people who appreciate a good hound song, and plenty of opportunities to snuggle up with his favorite humans.
If you've got room in your heart for a low-riding, big-hearted, floppy-eared little character, NightFox might just be your perfect match.
NightFox is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
