Blue - Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Springfield, Missouri

A chocolate lab is like a warm cup of cocoa on a rainy afternoon, providing comfort, warmth, and a sweetness that makes everything better. IYKYK

I'm Blue, a 5-year-old, 95-pound bundle of scrumptious chocolate lab. I'm perfectly house and crate trained, good on my leash, good with other dogs, cats and respectful children. Want to know more?

If you're still reading, you'll want to know that I'm a laid back, derpy, all around good boy. I'm happiest laying by my people and soaking up the love. I do enjoy toys, especially carrying a stuffy around in my mouth. In addition to being handsome, I'm smart. I know sit, down and shake.

I'm currently recovering from an injury which requires pain management and limited activity (which I'm actually fine with). I may always favor that leg, and in order to protect my joints, I'll have to watch my figure as I age and potentially take medication (which is why my adoption fee is reduced)

My ideal home will be with a loving family who absolutely loves and appreciates my breed, has a reasonably regular schedule, a home setting with a fenced yard, and very limited stairs.
