Things His Future Family Should Know:
Walter is a flight risk and his safety will need to be a top priority. He can quickly try to jump out when his crate door opens, so his family will need to be very careful with doors, gates, and transitions. He will benefit from a calm, predictable home where he can continue building confidence.
Walter is not yet house trained and will need a family willing to continue working on his routine and training.
Ideal Home:
Walter would do best with a patient and understanding family who can help him feel safe while he adjusts. A home with another friendly dog may be a great fit, as he has tested well with other dogs. With time, love, and consistency, Walter is sure to become a wonderful little companion.
