Esther is a sweet chocolate Chihuahua with a whole lot of kisses to give! She can be a little timid when you first meet her, but you can tell she's just waiting to feel safe enough to let her true personality shine. Once she starts to feel comfortable, you'll discover what a special little girl she is!

Esther is a quiet, gentle companion who is happy sleeping in her crate through the night or snuggling up with her favorite person. She loves having a cozy, familiar spot to retreat to, whether that's her bed in the kitchen or her favorite place on the couch. And when it's time to sleep? Don't be surprised if you find a little nose poking out from under the blankets! She also enjoys squeaky toys, chicken treats, and, most of all, giving out kisses by the dozen.

Esther gets along with other dogs and small children, and her sweet nature makes her an absolute joy to have around. She does have one big hurdle to overcome, though: the great outdoors is a scary place for this little girl. Esther is still working on potty training, as she finds going outside frightening. She does hold her bladder during the day, and she'll need a patient adopter to help her feel safe and comfortable with outdoor potty breaks and is willing to help her build confidence at her own pace.

Esther is an absolute sweetheart who has so much love to give.
