Shelby - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Wake Forest, North Carolina

Are you a patron of the arts? You'll want to meet Saving Grace's artist in residence: Shelby!

Shelby is a 43-pound adult shepherd mix who brings stories to life through the art of interpretive dance and paints pictures with her tail. We suspect she could land a triple axel if we let her wear ice skates- this sweet pup is enthusiastic, expressive, and athletic! If Shelby is having a great time, you'll know immediately because she will be twirling about- celebrating the moment! This sweet pup is truly 80% twirls and spins- she takes good vibes very seriously and life is a party when she's around.

Shelby is part of our hiking program and has proven herself to be up for any active adventure! She's still learning leash manners, but her morale is strong and her spirit is sparkly. She is passionate about snacks, eager to learn, and quite tuned in to humans so it will be a joy to teach her the ropes.

In addition to her flair for the creative arts and her athletic prowess, Shelby is STUNNING. She has an autumnal auburn coat, expressive perky ears, rich brown eyes, and an elegant snoot. To top it all off, Shelby has a rhythmic-gymnastics-scarf for a tail: you'll be overcome by the elegance and grace of its swishes and swirls!

Shelby is absolutely bursting with love and wants to make friends more than she's wanted anything in her life. (Besides snacks- she also really wants snacks). If you are looking for a best friend who can dance, twirl, hike, and snuggle her way into your heart, send in your adoption request today because artists in residence, Shelby, is the one for you!!
