Mia is an adorable 18 pound, 8-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a heart full of love and plenty of happy years ahead of her. This sweet little girl came to us as an owner surrender in very poor condition, but thanks to lots of care, patience, and veterinary attention, she has made an incredible transformation.

Since joining our rescue, Mia has been spayed, had a much-needed dental procedure, gained healthy weight, and received everything she needed to become the happy, healthy dog she is today. Now she's ready to find the forever family she deserves.

Don't let her age fool you Mia still has plenty of love to give and enjoys being part of everyday family life. She currently lives comfortably with dogs, cats, and children and gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets. Whether she's relaxing on the couch, following you around the house, or simply hanging out nearby, Mia is happiest just being with her people.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
