Layla's Story

MEET LAYLA — THE GIRL WHO NEVER GAVE UP HOPE!

Meet Layla, a beautiful 1-year-old Lab/Hound mix with a heart full of love and so much life ahead of her! At 44 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, family fun, and curling up beside you on the couch for some serious snuggle time.

Layla’s story will tug at your heartstrings. She was dumped at a stop sign along a major highway, where she waited for THREE LONG DAYS, hoping her owner would come back for her. Thankfully, our rescue learned she was there and went to bring her to safety.

Despite being let down by the person she trusted, Layla has so much love to give. She is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend forever!

A little about Layla:
1-year-old Lab/Hound mix
44 pounds of pure love
Spayed
Heartworm negative
Up to date on all vaccinations
Microchipped
Loves kids, cats, and other dogs!
High energy and always ready for fun
Professional couch snuggler in the making!

Layla is still learning her manners and leash skills, but she’s doing great and just needs someone willing to be patient, consistent, and loving as she continues to learn. She would thrive in an indoor home where she can be part of the family, get plenty of exercise, and enjoy all the affection she deserves.

All Layla wants is what every dog deserves: a safe home, a loving family, and someone who will never leave her wondering if they’re coming back.

She waited three days for someone who never returned. Now it’s our turn to help her find the person who will choose her FOREVER.

Could Layla be the missing piece of your family?

Please share her story to help this sweet girl find the loving home she’s been waiting for! Every share could bring her one step closer to her happily ever after.
