Just look at those ears and that handsome face! Meet Frankie, a sweet young boy who has already overcome a heartbreaking start in life and is now hoping to find a family of his very own.

Frankie’s rescue story began when a kindhearted man spotted him on Facebook and saw the terrible condition he was in. Frankie was severely underweight, nothing but skin and bones. Unable to turn his back on a dog in need, this wonderful man went to get Frankie and then reached out to our rescue for help.

Thankfully, Frankie’s days of going hungry are behind him, and he now has a chance at the happy life every dog deserves!

Frankie is estimated to be just a little over a year old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. We believe he may be an Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever mix, but that’s just our best guess. Whatever his breed, he’s one handsome boy with those adorable oversized ears and beautiful markings!

At his young age, Frankie has so much life ahead of him. We’d love to see him find a family who will give him the love, stability, and security he deserves after everything he’s been through.

We are hoping to find Frankie a wonderful home locally here in Alabama, where he can finally put his difficult past behind him and enjoy being someone’s beloved companion.

If you have room in your heart and home for this handsome boy, please submit an adoption application. Let’s give Frankie the happy ending he’s been waiting for!
