Fern is a beautiful girl who is right at one year old and weighs just under 40 pounds. She has a twin sister named Flower, and these two girls have quite a story to tell.

Fern and Flower came from a heartbreaking situation where they were being starved and severely neglected. Thankfully, they were rescued and brought into our care, where they’ve been receiving the love, food, and attention they so desperately needed. Both girls have come such a long way! Fern is doing wonderfully, although she still needs to gain a little more weight.

Despite everything she’s been through, Fern is an absolute sweetheart! She’s wonderful with other dogs, loves children, and is just a beautiful, happy young girl who deserves the very best.

Fern has also been around cats and does fine with them, although she does like to chase them! We haven’t seen any aggression toward cats, but because of her playful chasing, we feel a home without cats would be best unless you have a very dog-savvy kitty who doesn’t mind a little excitement.

Fern is still young, with her whole life ahead of her. She’s ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a family who will love and cherish her forever.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, sweet girl to welcome into your family, Fern might be the one!

Please submit an adoption application today and give this deserving girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for!
