Meet Frito — small package, BIG crunch!

Frito and her siblings came into the world at the shelter after their mom was found tied to a pole. Their mama is a little Chihuahua weighing about 10 pounds, but Dad didn’t bother leaving his information behind, so we’re not quite sure what went into Frito’s special recipe.

What we do know is that somebody added an extra scoop of personality! Frito is the spunky one of the bunch — playful, curious, and ready to get in on whatever fun is happening. She loves toys, enjoys playing, and when she finally runs out of puppy fuel, she’s more than happy to be held and soak up some attention.

Frito is still a young puppy with plenty to learn. Her forever family will need to continue working on potty training, leash skills, socialization, and good puppy manners so she can grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog.

If you’re looking for a little spice, a lot of personality, and plenty of puppy snuggles, grab yourself a Frito! Frito was born in July 2026 and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
