Meet Laela! This sweet and loving girl is approximately 30 pounds and ready for a life where she finally gets to be the center of someones world. After everything she has been through, Laela absolutely adores being with her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day, such as a retiree, someone who works from home, or a stay-at-home parent.

Laelas story began when she was found dumped in the woods, heavily pregnant and on her own. Soon after being rescued, she gave birth to six beautiful puppies. She was a wonderful mama, and all six of her babies have gone on to find homes of their own. Now, its finally Laelas turn to find the family she deserves.

Although Laela has been fostered around other dogs, weve learned that she would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. She wants her peoples love and attention all to herself—and after raising six puppies and everything she has overcome, we think she has earned that right!

Laela is fully potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps wonderfully in her crate at night, although she definitely has some opinions about being crated during the day. She is also still learning what it means to simply be a dog. Shes beginning to play more regularly and continues to gain confidence. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but shes making progress with that too.

Laela is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Her heartworm treatment is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue, so her future family can focus on giving her all the love she deserves.

This mama spent so much of her life taking care of her babies. Now shes ready for someone to choose her.


OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
