Meet Montgomery!

At just 3.5 pounds, Monty may be tiny... but he has NO idea that he's supposed to act like it!

Montgomery is a 12-week-old Chihuahua mix with a huge personality and an adventurous little spirit. His mom is a wirehaired Chihuahua mix and his dad is a longhaired Chihuahua mix. We expect him to stay small, likely around 12-15 pounds or less when fully grown.

Monty is happiest when he's busy! He loves exploring outside, finding the perfect stick, chewing on his toys and wrestling with his doggy friends. He's curious, playful and independent, and he's perfectly happy doing his own thing when he's not busy causing puppy-level mischief.

If you're looking for a little lap dog who wants to cuddle all day, Monty probably isn't your guy. He's more interested in PLAY TIME than lap time - but his silly personality will keep you laughing.

Monty is still learning puppy manners and sometimes gets a little mouthy when he's excited, so he would do best with adults or older children who understand that puppies need guidance while they learn appropriate play.

He sleeps through the night in his crate and is doing well with his crate routine, but he's still working on potty training.

He loves other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion who is ready to play! Like his siblings, he's also sensitive to loud noises such as thunderstorms and garbage trucks. He hasn't been around cats yet.
