Meet Pearl!

Pearl is a gentle, sweet girl who may need a little time to trust you, but once she does, you'll see what a happy little soul she really is.

Pearl and her siblings were abandoned together on a dirt road. We don't know anything about their history or exactly what breeds they are. We believe they are around 7 months old, and they may have been malnourished for quite some time. They are slowly gaining weight and getting healthier, and Pearl is making wonderful progress as she learns that she is safe.

Pearl currently weighs about 21 pounds. We expect her to mature to approximately 30-35 pounds, although with her unknown breed mix and history, she may ultimately remain smaller.

Pearl is a timid girl who can be unsure of new people and new experiences at first. Once she warms up to you, though, she transforms into such a happy girl. She loves treats, being petted, and spending time with her people.

Pearl especially enjoys going for walks and is surprisingly good on a leash. She has an adorable habit of looking up at you while you're walking and waiting for you to give her a little nose boop. It's one of her favorite things.

She is wonderful with kids. She is terrified of cats, and while she is unsure around other dogs initially, she can warm up to them with time and patience.

Pearl and her siblings have also made great progress with house training.

Pearl is looking for a patient family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and confident. In return, you'll get to watch a sweet, timid girl blossom into the happy companion she was always meant to be.
