Meet Camellia, a tiny Chihuahua mix with a big personality just waiting to bloom!

At 12-13 weeks old, Camellia is only about five pounds and is expected to remain a petite girl, likely weighing somewhere around 12-15 pounds or less when fully grown. Her mom is a wirehaired Chihuahua mix and her dad is a longhaired Chihuahua mix, so this little girl comes by her adorable looks honestly!

Camellia is a sweet, affectionate little pup who loves giving kisses - although she sometimes likes to sneak a tiny nibble in with them! She can be a little unsure of new people and situations at first, but once she realizes she is safe, her sweet personality starts to shine.

She is especially nervous around medium and large dogs. At this point, seeing a bigger dog can be overwhelming enough to make her scream and try to run away. With patience, positive experiences, and a confident little-dog-friendly canine companion, we believe she can continue building her confidence.

Camellia sleeps through the night in her crate, but like any young puppy, she is not potty trained yet and will need someone prepared for the time and patience that puppy training requires. She is also sensitive to loud noises such as thunderstorms and garbage trucks.

She has not been around young children, so a home with older, respectful children would likely be the best fit. She has not been around cats either, but we believe she could learn to live with them with proper introductions and supervision.

Camellia is still just a baby with so much growing, learning, and exploring ahead of her. She may need a little extra reassurance when the world feels big and scary, but underneath that uncertainty is a very loving little girl who is ready to find her forever family.
