Meet Maxwell, a tiny Chihuahua mix with a huge love for his people!

Maxwell, affectionately called Max, is a 12-week-old Chihuahua mix who is already proving to be quite the little character. His mom is a wirehaired Chihuahua mix and his dad is a longhaired Chihuahua mix. He currently weighs just a few pounds and is expected to remain a small guy, likely around 12-15 pounds or less when fully grown.

Maxwell is an affectionate, playful puppy who loves being around his people. He has the perfect combination of puppy energy and cuddle time. Give him a yard and he will happily search for the biggest stick he can find, toss his stuffed toys around, and entertain himself with puppy antics. But after he's had his fun, Max is more than happy to climb into your lap and settle in for a well-earned nap.

He enjoys playing with other dogs and has done well with them. He is also comfortable around children, although as with any young puppy, he will need continued guidance as he learns appropriate puppy manners.

Maxwell sleeps through the night in his crate and is doing well with his crate routine. He is still working on potty training, so his new family will need to continue the process with patience and consistency.

Max is good with other dogs, but has only been around other small dogs. He has not been around cats, so introductions would need to be handled appropriately. We also feel that a home with older, respectful children would be the best fit for these puppies.

He is a sweet, affectionate little guy who loves both adventure and cuddles. If you're looking for a tiny companion who will happily explore the yard with you and then curl up in your lap afterward, Max might be your guy!

We are located in Fayette County, Georgia and are a completely foster-based rescue. We do not have a shelter building, so all of our dogs are cared for in volunteer foster homes.
