Bill is a sensitive, thoughtful little guy who just needs a moment to feel safe-and once he does, you'll see a completely different dog.

In his foster's, Bill is confident, playful, and happy. He loves toys, seeks out pets, and explores with his tail up and wagging. He's extremely food motivated (meals disappear quickly), knows how to sit, and takes treats gently, making him a great candidate for continued training.

The outside world is still new to him. City noises and busy environments can be overwhelming, and he may freeze or startle when unsure. That said, he's eager to go out and, in quieter areas, walks nicely on leash with no reactivity. With patience, consistency, and continued socialization, he's very likely to gain confidence and settle in.

Bill gets along well with other dogs but doesn't seem particularly interested in them-he's more of a people dog. He's generally quiet, aside from occasional alert barking at home if he hears nearby commotion.

He's still working on the basics like house training, but all signs point to him catching on quickly with a consistent routine.

Bill would do best with an adopter who understands that some dogs need a little time to adjust and who is committed to continuing his training, socialization, and confidence-building. In return, you'll get a sweet, playful companion-with an extra dose of charm, including his adorable habit of letting the tiniest bit of tongue peek out when his mouth is closed.
