Meet Jett!

Jett may have had a rough start, but we’re making sure that’s not how his story ends. He was found alone, wandering the streets of Houston, Texas something we sadly see far too often. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan stepped in, and now Jett is safe in a foster home with our rescue.

Still just a puppy, Jett is learning the ropes of home life. He’s currently working on potty training and doing great with crate training. He’s being fostered alongside dogs of all ages and sizes and a cat so needless to say, he’s getting plenty of socialization!

Like many herding breeds, Jett does show some herding instincts, but he’s easily redirected and eager to learn. He’s very food motivated and already looks to his older foster siblings for guidance, which is helping him build confidence and good habits. Jett would thrive in a home with another well-balanced dog who can continue to show him the way and be his built-in best friend. He is being fostered with human kids and absolutely loves them as well.

Jett is approximately 14 weeks old, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is super small for his age (only 14lbs) so we think he will end up being a smedium sized boy when full grown.

Jett is impressively smart and climbed up onto the 7ft play set all by himself just to be near his foster kid siblings. He also sits pretty, fetches a ball, and goes to lay down when asked to! He'd be a total rock star at agility, and will definitely be the smartest kid in his puppy training classes.

Jett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to many locations across the country. His adoption fee of $600 includes his transport fee.
