Meet Roadie!

Roadie is a beautiful 53-pound cattle dog mix estimated to be between two and four years old. He was found standing in the middle of a road here in Hondo, Texas, following a terrible thunderstorm.

We searched high and low for his family, but no one ever came forward. Roadie had no collar, no microchip, and had not been neutered.

Today, Roadie is safe and enjoying the air conditioning in our Milton building—and he truly loves being here! He gets along wonderfully with everyone and loves the company of both people and other dogs. With his friendly, easygoing personality, Roadie would make a wonderful addition to almost any family.

Roadie is Chagas-positive, but please don't let that scare you. Chagas can be successfully treated, and treated dogs can go on to live long, happy, healthy lives.

Roadie is currently located outside San Antonio, Texas, but transportation may be available to a city near you. Please check the transport schedule on our website for upcoming destinations.
