Twinkie-one eyed sweetie - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Hondo, Texas

Twinkie is an adorable 10-pound Chihuahua with the sweetest personality you could ask for. She came to us from a shelter in deep South Texas with a severely injured eye that had to be removed, but that hasn't slowed her down one bit.

At around four years old, Twinkie is gentle, loving, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She has a kind, easygoing nature, and I can truly see her fitting into just about any family—whether you have children, other dogs, or you're simply looking for a loyal little companion.

Twinkie is currently located in Hondo, Texas, but we do transport! Be sure to check the transport schedule on our website—we may already have a trip planned near you.

Twinkie tested positive for Chagas but please do to let that scare you. She is doing great on treatment, and the approximate cost is $30 per month for every 20 lbs. of dog weight so not much at all.
