Sky is a sweet boy who has spent most of his life outdoors and is now ready to experience the comfort of an indoor home. He is dog selective and would likely do best as the only dog in the household, where he can have all the attention to himself.
Sky does well with cats, kids, and strangers, making him a friendly companion for a variety of homes. However, he is not suited for a home with livestock.
Because he hasn't lived indoors before, Sky is not yet housebroken and has never been crate trained, so he will need patience and consistency as he learns these new skills. He does decent on a leash and rides well in the car, which is a great start for continued training.
Sky will need a secure yard with a tall, sturdy fence, as he has been known to climb over shorter fences and dig under weak spots.

Sky is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He did have a very light positive heartworm test and has started the slow kill method of treatment.
