Australian Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Stephenville, Texas

REYNA

Australian Shepherd, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Stephenville, Texas
April 22nd
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Reyna is a sweet girl who was surrendered through no fault of her own-her previous owners simply wanted a better life for her where she could enjoy being an indoor companion. She does well with dogs and gets along with adult cats, though she doesn't quite understand her size and may play a bit too rough at times. She does not do well with livestock.
Reyna is friendly with kids and strangers, but she does have a habit of jumping up when she gets excited. She's housebroken, crate trained, and does well being left alone. She tolerates brushing but isn't a fan of water or baths. She rides well in the car and already knows "kennel," "sit," and "lay down." On leash, she can be a bit of a puller and would benefit from continued training.
Reyna would love a home where she can soak up all the snuggles and attention from her favorite people.
Reyna has received a DHPP and Bordetella vaccination. She is pending a microchip and heartworm test. She is scheduled to be spayed 4/24.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
