Pasta is a 4-5 year old Hound/Lab mix with zest for life and energy to spare. She loves adventures, long walks, car rides, and-after she's had her fun-crashing on the couch like a pro. Treats are her love language, and she's always ready to work for a snack.
She's housebroken, crate trained, and has done well with dogs, kids, strangers, and even livestock. That said, Pasta prefers calm handling (no loud voices), pulls hard on leash, and can clear fences under 5 feet-so secure containment and a confident handler are a must. She tends to do best with male or smaller dogs, needs slow introductions, and should be fed separately due to possible food guarding. Her cat history is mixed, so a cat-free home may be the best fit depending on experience.
Spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, Pasta is currently in treatment for a light heartworm infection and must stay on ivermectin-based prevention until retesting in May 2026. Returned when her last match wasn't quite right, she's ready for a committed home that can give her structure, patience, and plenty to do.
