Millie - Cane Corso Dog for Adoption in Dysart, Iowa

PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

MILLIE IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS/IOWA CITY, IOWA.

Millie is an approximately 3.5-year-old Cane Corso who came to us as a local surrender from a difficult situation. When she first entered rescue, she was severely underweight, but with proper care and time she has made a full recovery and is now ready to find the loving home she deserves.

Millie is a goofy, affectionate girl who seems to love just about everyone she meets. She is happiest when she can be around her people and soak up attention. She has a big personality to match her size and is the kind of dog who makes herself part of whatever is going on.

Millie is potty trained, crate trained, and knows “sit.” She is currently working on leash manners and learning not to pull. She is smart, eager to please, and continues to make progress with consistency and positive reinforcement.

Millie does well with other dogs with proper introductions and has also done well around cats, though slower introductions are always best. She is good with children and is extremely friendly, though she can get excited and may jump when greeting people, so continued work on manners will be important.

Millie has already come so far from the condition she was in when she first arrived. Now that she is healthy and feeling good, she is ready for a family that will continue giving her the structure, love, and stability she deserves.

Millie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450.

If you’re interested in giving Millie the forever home she deserves, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
