Meet Archie
Professional Good Boy. Amateur Rockstar. Part-Time Endocrinologist.
Let's address the hair first. Yes, that's a mohawk. No, he doesn't use product. (But no judgment if you wanted to pull out the max hold gel)
He simply wakes up every morning looking like he fronted a punk band in the '80s before retiring to a quiet life of bird watching and afternoon naps.
Archie is an 8 year old, 37 pound terrier mix with the soul of your favorite middle aged neighbor. You know the one. Waves at everyone. Brings in your garbage cans. Somehow knows how to fix your lawn mower. That's Archie.
He's never met a stranger. Men? Love them. Women? Absolutely. Kids? Big fan. Dogs? Let's hang out. Cats? Sure, why not. Archie approaches life with the attitude of someone who's convinced everyone is invited to the barbecue.
That said... after years of being everyone's friend, he's earned the right to appreciate a quieter lifestyle. A calm home with one or two humans to adore him? That's his dream. He's less "Vegas weekend" and more "let's sit on the porch and judge squirrels."
Speaking of squirrels...
Archie has the self-control of a tiny furry Buddhist monk. He walks beautifully on leash, rides like a gentleman in the car, knows his commands, has excellent house manners, and can be trusted to roam the house while you're away. He even politely announces visitors without turning into the neighborhood gossip.
Now let's talk about the one thing that makes Archie a little different.
Archie is diabetic.
Before you panic, don't.
His insulin costs about $25 a month, he takes his injections like an absolute professional, and then immediately goes back to being concerned about far more important things... like whether you're going to share that piece of turkey.
His biggest requirement isn't complicated. He just needs someone whose schedule allows them to be home every 12 hours for his insulin.
That's it.
So if you're a work from home human, retired, have opposite schedules with your partner, or simply have a lifestyle where you're home morning and evening, congratulations, you are Archie's dating profile target audience.
Think of it this way: Archie is the world's fluffiest accountability partner. Every twelve hours he'll remind you that it's time for insulin... and probably a cookie. Mostly the cookie.
When he's not keeping everyone on schedule, Archie enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, naps beside his people, making new friends, sporting bold blue bandanas that complement his magnificent hair, and looking like he accidentally wandered off the set of an indie rock album cover.
His foster family says he's one of those dogs who just... fits. No drama. No chaos. No complicated quirks. Just a genuinely kind soul who wants someone to love and a comfy dog bed close enough to keep an eye on his people.
If dogs handed out emotional support, Archie would have a PhD.
If they awarded trophies for being effortlessly lovable, he'd need a bigger shelf.
If they judged hair, he'd be banned for having an unfair advantage.
Archie is:
Housebroken
Neutered
Microchipped
Up to date on vaccines and preventatives
Treat motivated
Walks beautifully on leash
Great with dogs, cats, and respectful children
Comfortable free roaming when home alone
Approximately $25/month in insulin away from perfection
Archie lost his previous home because life changed, not because he did anything wrong.
Now he's looking for someone who sees a twice-daily insulin routine not as an inconvenience, but as the tiniest price to pay for one of the nicest dogs you'll ever meet.
Because honestly?
Some dogs ask for the moon. Archie just asks that you be home for breakfast... and dinner. He'll take care of the unconditional love part.
