Meet Macie, your sparkly, early-rising queen with a heart of gold đđ
Nickname: Mace of Base, Macie Moo
Breed: Yorkie
Age: Golden Oldie perfection
Weight: 14 lbs of fabulous
Rescue: Albertâs Dog Lounge
Fostered in: Madison, WI
Macie didnât just enter her glow-up era⌠she OWNS it. Surrendered in Georgia when her family moved, this little lady has decided that chapter is closed, and sheâs now fully focused on living her best, sparkliest life with someone who appreciates a queen.
Letâs talk personality: Macie is joy on four legs. She struts on walks like itâs Fashion Week and youâre just there to carry her water and hype her up. She greets each day like itâs the best one yet (cue: âWalking on Sunshineâ), with wiggles, hops, and a âwhat adventure are we going on today?â attitude.
⨠The Real Macie (aka the 3-3-3 glow-up edition):
Macie is a textbook example of the 3-3-3 rule. She takes a minute to settle in, but once she does, her little routines and quirks shine through in the best way.
She is a woman of routine:
Early riser (weâre talking consistent, within a 30 minute window⌠impressive, honestly)
Breakfast = immediate priority
Evening snack + melatonin = bedtime soon after (and yes, you should also be in bed⌠she has standards)
Sheâs gentle, funny, and low-drama, but she will:
Let you know when itâs potty time (or when youâve been gone too long. RUDE.)
Have the occasional accident if left too long (she is a senior queen, after all)
Politely remove herself if other dogs are too loud. She prefers calm, respectful company
Macie may be a little hard of hearing⌠or just selectively listening. The juryâs still out.
đ Her Royal Preferences:
People: Loves her humans deeply, especially ones who are home a lot. Slight âmehâ energy toward men, but no issues, she's just a girlsâ girl at heart.
Dogs & Cats: Yes, please. as long as theyâre chill and not chaotic gremlins.
Kids: Older, respectful kiddos who understand âgentle hands onlyâ (especially with treats because she gets enthusiastic!)
Sleep: In her bed next to yours⌠but letâs be real, sheâd LOVE to upgrade to your bed
Fashion: Pink, sparkly, and ideally paired with imaginary cat-eye sunglasses and a crown
đ Macie Stats (because details matter):
Bark-o-meter: 3/10 (sheâs classy, not chaotic)
Snore-o-meter: 1/10 (just a tiny sleepy purr)
Shedding: 5/10 (spa days encouraged đ
)
Activity level: Moderate. Walks, sniffing, exploring, repeat
đ Health & Care:
Macie is doing great! She has a slight heart murmur that the vet isnât concerned about and is only on monthly preventatives. She eats a mix of high-quality kibble and canned food like the refined lady she is.
đĄ Her Dream Home:
Macie is looking for a home where:
Someone is around often (retired? work from home? perfect.)
Life is a little quieter, a little calmer
Early mornings are embraced, not resented đ
She can stick to her routine, soak up love, and be treated like the royalty she clearly is
Macie isnât just a dog, sheâs a VIBE. Sheâs sweetness, sparkle, routine, and loyalty all wrapped up in one tiny, fabulous package. If youâre ready for early mornings, loyal companionship, and a whole lot of personality⌠Macie is ready to rule your heart.
