Firefly may be tiny, but this little guy is determined to make a bright impression.

At just 1 year old and 8 pounds, this scruffy Terrier mix is perfectly travel-sized, making him easy to scoop up, snuggle, and bring along for whatever adventures the day holds. He arrived in rescue with his identical brother, Dragonfly, and together they have mastered the art of being twice as adorable and occasionally impossible to tell apart.

Firefly is equal parts cautious and curious. He likes to take a moment to assess new situations before jumping in, which is really just proof that he's a thoughtful decision-maker. While some dogs rush headfirst into everything, Firefly prefers a "look before you leap" approach. It's a strategy that has served him well.

Once he starts to feel comfortable, you can practically see his confidence begin to flicker and glow. His curiosity takes over, his sweet personality shines through, and suddenly he's ready to see what all the excitement is about. Firefly doesn't need to be the center of attentionhe just quietly lights up the room in his own way.

When the adventures are over, Firefly is more than happy to trade exploration for snuggles. This little guy loves cozy spots, warm laps, and being close to the people he trusts. At 8 pounds, he's the perfect size for professional cuddle duties.

Firefly has spent a lot of time looking to his brother for reassurance, but he's starting to discover that he has plenty of sparkle all on his own. With a patient family willing to help him continue building confidence, there's no telling how brightly this little guy will glow.

Firefly is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative on his 4DX for heartworm and tick-borne disease.
