Malibu is five pounds of pure chaos wrapped in questionable Brussels griffon engineering, and honestly, she’s thriving. At just 14 weeks old, this scruffy little survivor already has enough personality packed into her tiny body to power an entire reality television franchise. She arrived in rescue alongside her siblings Bel Air, Venice, and Hollywood — affectionately known as the “potato puppies” because, at the time, they looked less like dogs and more like oddly emotional root vegetables.
The puppies came into rescue battling parvo, and heartbreakingly, Hollywood did not survive. But Malibu? Malibu said absolutely not. This tiny gremlin fought her way through sickness with the determination of someone refusing to leave brunch before the bottomless mimosas arrive. Now she’s healthy, happy, and fully committed to making up for lost time.
Like any proper Malibu girl, she approaches life as though every moment is a beach party she accidentally got VIP access to. She’s silly, curious, playful, and just the right amount of ridiculous. One minute she’s zooming around like a wind-up toy possessed by caffeine, the next she’s staring at you with her little griffon face like she’s an exhausted Victorian orphan who has seen too much.
Malibu is still very much a puppy, which means she’s currently majoring in chaos with a minor in poor decision-making. Everything is exciting. Everything deserves investigation. Everything may potentially fit in her mouth. She’ll need a family ready to help guide her through all the important puppy things, but she brings enough charm to make even her most questionable life choices feel oddly endearing.
And because this tiny fighter deserves the very best future, Malibu is already spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and negative for heartworm and tick disease on her 4DX test. She has survived more in her first few months than many dogs face in a lifetime, and somehow she’s still chosen joy.
If your home could use a tiny scruffy sidekick with survivor spirit, comedic timing, and the energy of a raccoon that just discovered espresso, Malibu is ready to crash-land directly into your heart.
