Sandy - Boxer and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Oswego, Illinois

Meet Sandy!

6 Months Old
Spayed
Dog & Kid Friendly

Sandy’s journey to find her forever home has already had a few twists and turns, but this sweet girl hasn’t let that slow her down!

Sandy was originally adopted by a family in Mississippi who soon realized they weren’t quite prepared for the responsibilities of raising a puppy. While Sandy was away, the rest of her siblings caught a freedom ride to Illinois and went on to find their forever families. Unfortunately, Sandy found herself back at the shelter. But lucky for her, another freedom ride to Illinois came along shortly after, and now she’s ready for her happily ever after!

And let us tell you, Sandy is quite the catch!

She’s playful, eager to please, loyal, and just an all-around wonderful puppy. She’s crate trained and mostly housebroken. She is making great progress with potty training.

Sandy is a quieter girl who loves being around her people and joining in on whatever adventures the day brings. She’s learning to walk on a leash and is discovering just how much fun walks can be! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a family who will include her in their daily activities.

Did we mention her adorable underbite and the fact that she snores? Because honestly, what’s not to love?

Sandy has already had to start over once, and now she’s hoping her next family will be her last. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your home with love, laughs, and plenty of puppy snuggles, Sandy might just be your girl!
