Meet Rosco!
4.5 months old
Dog, Cat & Kid Friendly

If you’re looking for the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, smart, and easygoing, let us introduce you to Rosco!

Rosco is a young gentleman with a whole lot of love to give. He has a low-to-medium energy level and has mastered the art of balance. He enjoys playing with his furry friends and exploring his toy collection, but once playtime is over, he’s more than happy to find a cozy spot on the couch and settle in for some snuggles.

Rosco is wonderful with other dogs and absolutely loves cats! He’s also great with kids and has even shown a little protective side. When he thought one of the kids was picking on a younger sibling, Rosco stepped in with a bark to let everyone know that wasn’t okay. Apparently, he’s appointed himself the household referee!

A few of Rosco’s other impressive qualities:

• House trained: Doing really well! His foster family has even taught him to ring a bell when he needs to go outside.
• Crate trained: A total pro! He settles nicely in his crate and will let you know if he needs a potty break.
• Leash trained: Fantastic on a leash! He prances along like a little baby deer.
• Dog friendly: Loves playing and hanging out with other dogs.
• Cat friendly: Absolutely loves his feline friends.
• Kid friendly: Gentle and wonderful with children.
• Not much of a barker: He’s generally a quiet guy, although he’ll speak up when he needs to go potty or gets caught up in playtime.

Rosco is also incredibly smart and treat motivated. He knows how to sit nicely for treats, loves belly rubs, enjoys car rides, and thinks pretty much every toy deserves his attention.

One of our favorite things about Rosco is that he’s a bit of a watcher. When someone comes to the door, while the other dogs are putting on their usual barking performance, Rosco prefers to sit back and observe the situation. He’s more of a quiet supervisor than a neighborhood watch alarm system!

Affectionate, gentle, athletic, goofy, playful, and incredibly sweet, Rosco has so many wonderful qualities packed into one adorable package.

He’s past the crazy puppy stage but still young enough to enjoy adventures, playtime, and all the fun that comes with being part of a family.

Rosco is ready to find his forever family. Could that be you?

***Rosco has not yet been neutered. A voucher for neutering will be provided at Adoption. There are two veterinarians that we partner with to provide sterilization.
