My name is Teddy. I am 5 years old and weigh 40 pounds. I need a new home because my family could no longer care for me. I am being fostered in Broomfield, Colorado.

Don’t let my size fool you. I’m 40 pounds of solid muscle but I identify as a petite, lovable lap dog with a BIG heart! I’m a happy, easygoing guy who is affectionate, sweet, and absolutely loves to cuddle!

I love going for walks and discovering all the interesting smells along the way. I’m strong but I walk nicely on a leash and don’t pull. I also enjoy car rides and going on new adventures, as long as I’m by your side! I’m good with other dogs, although I prefer not to share my toys. I’m also great with kids, but cats aren’t really my thing.

Daily exercise, neck scratches and belly rubs are a must for me! In return, I promise plenty of kisses, cuddles, and smiles. After the walks, and playtime, I’m ready to snooze (and snore!) in a comfy dog bed.

I don’t mind my crate and have no problem relaxing there while you’re running errands or away for work.
I'd love a home with a yard and an active person or family looking for an easygoing, sweet, loyal companion. I'll always be excited to see you, greet you with body wiggles, tail waggles, and plenty of kisses!

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
