My name is Colby. I am 2 years old and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because I was released from a breeder. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO.

I am a small Boston who has lots of love to give. I am learning about the world and how fun it can be. I’m a shy guy that enjoys doing whatever it is that you are doing. I’d be content sitting on the couch next to you or taking a walk, or snuggling with you under the covers. I’ll be your little shadow and wag my tail when I feel happy.

I love giving kisses, having my belly rubbed, and snuggling against you

I get along with other dogs and am learning to play with them.

I would rather not be the only dog in a home, observing how other dogs behave helps me feel confident to try new things

I need an owner who will be patient and gentle with me while I learn about the world and help me to gain confidence.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
