My name is Beanie. I am 4.5 years old and weigh 17 pounds. I need a new home because my owner passed away. I am being fostered in Cedar Rapids, IA.

I require a home with no other pets.

I have adjusted well in my foster home with my foster human. I love people of all ages.

I really love belly rubs, cuddling, and walks ... I am well mannered, smart and kind.
And please make room under the covers as that is my favorite spot at bedtime!

I do have a bad habit of jumping on people when I get excited but what boston doesn't? I am working on learning not to do that.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
