Ellie is a beautiful 2 year old Border Collie mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. With her intelligence, athleticism, and loving personality, shes everything that makes this breed so special.

Like many Border Collies, Ellie can be a little reserved when meeting new people or entering a new environment. She likes to take a moment to observe and get her bearings, but once she realizes shes safe, her sweet and affectionate personality quickly shines through. It doesnt take long before shes happily by your side, ready for whatever adventure comes next.

Ellie is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, making her a dream to train. She loves learning new things and thrives when given both mental and physical outlets. True to her breed, shes an active girl who enjoys running, playing, and having a job to do. She would excel in activities such as agility, hiking, obedience training, or any home that can provide her with the engagement and exercise she craves.

Sadly, Ellie was surrendered when her previous family realized they couldnt provide the level of activity and enrichment that a Border Collie mix needs to truly thrive. Their loss is someone elses incredible opportunity, because Ellie is an absolutely wonderful dog looking for the right match.

She is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent manners. Shes also fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys canine companionship. Whether shes making new dog friends or spending time with her people, Ellie approaches life with a happy and eager attitude.

One of Ellies absolute favorite things is going for car rides. If theres a car door open, shes ready to hop in and join you for the adventure! Whether its a quick trip to the store, a scenic drive, a weekend hike, or a day exploring new places, Ellie is always excited to be your co-pilot.
