Meet Burtie!

Burtie is a 1 year old French Bulldog weighing approximately 26 pounds, and she is every bit as lovable as she is adorable. This sweet girl has a wonderful personality and is ready to find a family that will show her all the love shes been missing.

Burtie came to rescue through a breeder release, but she has embraced her new life with enthusiasm. She is incredibly friendly with people and loves being around her humans. Whether shes looking for attention, following you around the house, or hopping into the car for an adventure, Burtie simply wants to be part of the family.

This playful girl has plenty of energy and loves to have fun. Shes been great with both large and small dogs, although bigger dogs can make her a little nervous at first and she tends to bark at them. She enjoys interacting with her canine friends but is just as happy spending time with her favorite people. She is more of a peoples dog! Shes also done well with children, though because she can get excited and jump up when shes happy, older children may be the best fit.

Burtie is incredibly food motivated and eager to please, which makes her a wonderful candidate for continued training. Shes currently working on house training and is making progress every day. Shes also learning that a crate can be a positive place. Because she spent much of her life confined to one, she doesnt love being crated and would much rather be near her people. The good news is that she settles down nicely once given some time.

One of Burties activities she likes is going for car rides. Shes always ready to hop in and accompany you wherever the day may lead. Her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and desire to be close to her family make her a wonderful companion.

Burtie will be spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption.
