Meet Ozark!

Ozark is a 4-month-old Australian Cattle Dog-type mixed breed puppy weighing 17 pounds. This sweet, outgoing girl is full of puppy curiosity and is ready to find a home where she can grow into an incredible companion.

She is currently thriving in foster care, where she's discovering all about life as a beloved pet and how to make good puppy choices. Ozark lives with large and small dogs, cats, and a kindergartener, and has adapted well to each. She enjoys meeting new people, is becoming more comfortable on leash, and has learned that the cats definitely make the rules!

Like any puppy, Ozark is still mastering crate training, housetraining, and polite greetings. She can become mouthy when she's excited or frustrated, but she's making great progress with positive reinforcement and is quickly discovering that calm behavior gets the best results. She's highly food motivated, already knows how to sit, and loves the opportunity to earn treats while training.

Ozark would enjoy a puppy socialization class where she can continue practicing her manners, gain new experiences, and make more dog friends.

She is looking for an adopter who is excited to invest the time, patience, and consistency every young dog needs. With guidance, structure, and plenty of love, Ozark has all the ingredients to become a loyal, fun-loving companion.
