Sophia Loren is an 11-year-old Maltese weighing 6 pounds. This sweet and friendly little lady enjoys spending time with people and is always happy to come over to greet visitors when they stop by her kennel.

Sophia Loren loves attention and enjoys soaking up gentle pets from her favorite people. She has an affectionate personality and is looking for a family who will appreciate all the love and companionship she has to offer.

She also gets along well with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a home with canine friends.

Sophia Loren previously had mammary masses removed, and the biopsy results confirmed mammary carcinoma. At this time, NMDR will not be pursuing oncology treatment. We encourage her future adopter to consult with a veterinary oncologist to discuss her diagnosis and develop an appropriate treatment plan moving forward. Our team is happy to answer any questions and discuss her medical history in more detail with interested adopters.

A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for both Sophia Loren and her potential adopters.
