Calvin is a five-year-old Moyen Poodle who weighs 22 pounds and is quietly discovering that the world is becoming a much kinder place. This handsome boy is naturally sweet, and while he's still a little shy, his curiosity is already beginning to outweigh his uncertainty.

Though Calvin is a bit under-socialized, he's making wonderful progress. Rather than hiding away, he's started approaching new people to investigate who they are, showing that his confidence is growing a little more every day. It's easy to see that beneath his hesitation is a friendly dog who simply needs time to realize he's finally safe.

Calvin has a calm, gentle personality and, once he feels comfortable, enjoys being around his people. He's looking for a patient family that will let him continue growing at his own pace, understanding that trust isn't rushed-it's earned through kindness, consistency, and love.

He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he would also do just fine as the only dog in a home where he can soak up plenty of attention. He's also learning to walk on a leash and is making steady progress as he gains confidence in his new experiences.
