Hi, I’m Birdie — a 5-month-old Lab/Schnauzer mix weighing around 25–30 pounds, and I’m one of five sisters rescued together after being born in January. If you ask my foster family about me, they’ll probably tell you I’m the social butterfly of the group because I truly never meet a stranger.
I’m the kind of puppy who walks into every situation like we’re already best friends. I’m super friendly, outgoing, and always excited to meet new people or make new dog friends. All puppies have energy, of course, but I definitely have a little extra bounce in my step compared to my sisters. I’m always ready to play, explore, and see what kind of fun we can get into next.
I’m also one of the more confident girls in the litter and tend to adjust quickly to new things. I get along great with the other dogs and really just have a happy, well-rounded personality. My foster family says I’ve got a smoother coat with a scruffy little face and beard that gives me a ton of character — basically the perfect mix of adorable and goofy.
I’m still working on crate training and house training, but I do well keeping my kennel clean and I’m learning more every day. I haven’t started leash training or commands yet, but I’m smart, eager, and ready to learn. I’m fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. My foster family expects me to stay under around 60 pounds full grown. If you’re looking for a confident, social, fun-loving puppy who’s always ready to make new friends, I think we’d get along perfectly.
