Golden Retriever and German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I’m Queenie — a 3-year-old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds, and I was rescued from a high-kill shelter down south. I may be tiny, but I’ve got a very big heart and I’m the sweetest little lady you’ll ever meet.

I do really well keeping my kennel clean and I walk nicely on a leash. I also listen pretty well to basic commands like “sit,” especially when someone is patient and kind with me. I’m still learning about the world, and sometimes new things catch me off guard — like squeaky toys. When I first heard one, I wasn’t quite sure what to think because I’m still figuring out what toys are all about.

I’ve been amazing with other dogs and absolutely wonderful with all of the kennel staff. I actually came in with three puppies of my own, and I did an incredible job taking care of them. I’m a gentle, loving mom and a very sweet companion who just wants to be safe and close to kind people.

I haven’t been cat tested yet, but that can be done upon request. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready for a forever home where I can continue learning, feeling safe, and finally just being someone’s cherished little girl.
