Hi, I’m Scoobs—a 2-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix weighing about 14 pounds, and I’m just about as sweet as they come. I was found as a stray, and thankfully someone brought me to the rescue for safety. When no one came to claim me, I got the chance to start looking for a forever home that will love me the way I deserve.

I absolutely adore people and want to be as close to you as possible. The second my kennel door opens, I’m right there hoping to be picked up and loved on. I’ve never met a stranger and have been happy and friendly with everyone I’ve come across, including other dogs, kennel staff, and even neighbors. I also walk nicely on a leash and really enjoy spending time with my people.

I’m not overly high energy, though I do get little playful bursts here and there. Most of the time, I’m happiest being a cuddly little companion and hanging out by your side. I’m also very treat motivated, which makes learning fun and rewarding for me. I’ll come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate lap dog with a gentle personality, I might be the perfect fit for your family.
