Miniature Schnauzer and Yorkshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I’m Bear — a 3-year-old Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie mix weighing about 14 pounds, and I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. These days, I’m just focused on enjoying the simple things in life: good company, cozy naps, and a little time outside in the sunshine.

I’m a super sweet boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and all of the kennel staff. I actually share a room with three other dogs right now, and I do great with them. In fact, I like them so much that I usually wander over and eat out of their food bowl instead of my own. Sharing is caring, right?

I’m also a pretty quiet little guy. I’m not much of a barker and don’t really make a whole lot of noise. I’m more of a calm, easygoing companion who’s happy just being near my people and dog friends. I enjoy going outside to explore and play for a bit, but once I’m done, I’m perfectly content to come right back inside, curl up on my little bed, and snooze for hours.

Basically, I’m the best of both worlds — laid-back and cuddly, but still happy to join in on adventures when the opportunity comes along. I haven’t been cat tested yet, but that can be done upon request. I’m neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready to find a forever home where I can finally relax and be loved for the rest of my life.
